Why did you choose Tijuana for your weight loss surgery?
I came here because of the price. Back home it is around $15,000 and the insurance would not cover it.
What made you pick Medical Tourism Co. over a different company?
Yes, I had done a lot of research on it. Saw that the place was really nice and a lot of people were recommending it. And it just seemed to be a safe alternative for me. It was a cut above others. It stood out from everybody else with the courtesy, making contact with me by email on questions that I had.
How was the experience once you arrived in Tijuana for your weight loss surgery?
I was a little nervous but it subsided right away because everybody was very nice. Everything was arranged - for pick-up and drop outs. I felt comfortable with everybody around me so it turned out really well. Everything was great. The place was really nice. And they explained everything well. Hotel is nice too.
Anything that you would like to add?
It's just been a great experience for me. This is my third day post-op and I feel pretty good surprisingly. Not very sore. But it is good.
