Dr Hemant Tewari is a consultant in Pulmonology and Medical Intensive Care MBBS, MD.

  • FRACP (Internal Medicine), Australia.
  • FJICM (Critical Care), Australia.
  • EDIC (European Diploma in Intensive Care).

He did his MBBS and MD from MLB Medical College. He went on to do his Senior Residency in Critical Care from Sir Gangaram, Batra and Apollo Hospitals from 1997 to 2000.

In September 2000 he commenced his residency in Internal Medicine at the Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, Australia and completed his advanced training from Canterbury Hospital, Sydney in 2003.

He moved on to Adelaide, South Australia, in 2003 to complete his Advanced training in Intensive Care training from Flinders Medical Centre and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. He also did his advanced training in Infectious diseases and Pulmonology from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in 2005.

He cleared his fellowship examinations for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and the Joint Faculty of Intensive Care in 2007. He went onto clear the European Intensive Care Fellowship (EDIC) from Barcelona, Spain and Bergen, Norway.

He then joined as a Consultant in Critical Care and Internal Medicine at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Adelaide, Australia. He has nearly 8 years of experience in Internal Medicine (including Pulmonology and Infectious diseases) and Critical Care from Australia and Europe.
