Dr. German Fainzilber – General Surgeon – San Jose, Costa Rica

Dr. Fainzilber graduated from the University of Costa Rica in 1986, later completing his internship residency there as well. Shortly after, he completed a fellowship in Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.
He is Board-Certified in general, laparoscopic, and trauma critical care surgery, but his main focus is gastrointestinal laparoscopic surgery. He is certified as a surgeon by the “Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates”.
Dr. Fainzilber is an active member in organized medicine and participates in the Costa Rican Physician College and General Surgery Costa Rica Association.
