Inbound Travel Guidelines

Inbound Destination Status Guidelines
Bulgaria Partially open.
Quarantine is not required.
 Countries are classified based on COVID-19 risk levels – Red, green, orange zones. Check the Bulgarian Ministry of Health for the latest updates on zones.

1. Travelers from green and orange zones are allowed if they qualify the entry requirements
2. U.S. citizens from green and orange zones can enter if they qualify certain conditions by the Bulgarian Ministry of Health Order. The new entry requirements are in effect from 1st Sep 2021, through 30th Nov 2021.
3. All arriving passengers are required to submit a vaccination certificate, Covid19 negative report, or a test for immunity before entry. Find out more from the Health Order of the Bulgarian Ministry
4. Quarantine is not required for travelers from green & orange zones

Cambodia Open
Quarantine Required.
1. Travel to the country has been opened, but visitors have to adhere to strict guidelines.
2. Government has suspended e-visa and visa on arrival programs.
3. All arriving foreigners:
a) must quarantine for 14 days at a government-allocated hotel.
b) deposit $2,000 for covid19 testing, potential treatment services, quarantine accommodation, testing, and transportation post quarantine.
c) possess a covid19 negative certificate 72 hours before the date of arrival.
d) purchase local health insurance from Forte Insurance Company for covid19 treatment.
e) undergo a covid19 test upon arrival.

Colombia Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1.  Mig form must be submitted at most 24 hours before departure.
2. Covid19 negative test is no longer required for entry.
3. Quarantine is no longer required.
4. Download CoronAPP on your mobile for self-assessment and airport checks.
5. Limited international flights have been resumed to 8 of Colombia’s airports.
6. Public transportation is operational.
7. Vaccination is not required.

Costa Rica Open.
Quarantine Not Required.
1. All travelers entering Costa Rica need to fill out the Health Pass 48 hours before travel.
2. Unvaccinated tourists should show proof of medical insurance policy that covers treatment & lodging costs in case of contracting covid19.
3. Air and Marine entry has been opened for all countries.
4. Land border crossing has been opened for tourists.
5. Air international arrivals are possible only at Juan Santamaría International Airport or Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport.
6. Covid19 Negative test report is not required.
7. Quarantine is not required.
8. All travelers must produce a return ticket.
9. Vaccination :

  •  COVID-19 vaccination record card is accepted for US citizens
  • For other tourists, vaccination certificate should have the name of the person who received the vaccine, date of each dose, pharmaceutical company

10. Travel insurance is not required for:

  • Tourists under 18 years of age
  • Adult tourists fully vaccinated against COVID-19 with Moderna, Pfizer-BioNTech, AstraZeneca, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines

The last dose of the vaccine must have been received at least 14 days before arrival in Costa Rica.

El Salvador Open.
Quarantine not Required.
1. Government of El Salvador reopened international airports on 19th September with health protocols in place.
2. On 29th March 21, the government said that vaccinated travelers need not present a negative RT-PCR report. They can submit the proof of vaccination instead.
3. Quarantine is not required.
4. Covid19 negative test report is required for entry if the traveler doesn’t have proof of a completed vaccination course

Hungary Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. As of 1st September 2020, the Government of Hungary instituted a Covid19 entry control scheme that banned most foreign tourists.
2. As of July 1, 2021 (except by flight or from Ukraine), entry into Hungary from Croatia, Austria, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, and Slovenia is allowed.
3. U.S. citizens are not allowed to enter, with limited exceptions.
4. Covid19 negative test report is not required for entry.
5. All international arrivals are subjected to mandatory 10 days quarantine.

India Not Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. Ban on international flights to India extends until 30th September. Exempted flights remain operational.
2. U.S. citizens are allowed to enter India based on the purpose of the visit. Entry for tourism and short-term purposes is still not allowed.
3. E-Tourist visas and Tourist visas are not operational.
4. As of 22nd Feb 2021, all international passengers need to upload a Negative PCR report on the Air Suvidha portal 72 hours before starting their journey.
5. Covid19 testing is available throughout the country. You will have to book your test in advance due to the high demand for testing.
6. Traveler coming from or transiting through the U.K., Europe, Brazil, South Africa, or the Middle East must get a PCR test done at their own expense.
7. All international passengers must visit Air Suvidha portal and submit a self-declaration form at least 72 hours prior to departure for India.
8. Quarantine requirements vary from state to state.

Philippines Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. With effect from 1st May 2021, the government laid down guidelines for the entry of passengers.
2. Foreign nationals with valid and existing visas are allowed to enter.
3. These nationals must have pre-booked a government-specified quarantine hotel accommodation for at least 10 days.
4. They are subject to a covid19 testing on the 7th day since arrival.
5. Travelers coming from or who have been to Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Oman, India, and United Arab Emirates in the past 14 days will not be allowed to enter.6.US citizens are not permitted.Check the Philippine Presidential Communication Operations Office website for more information.
7. Covid19 negative test report is not required. Passengers are required to undergo a covid19 RT-PCR test upon arrival.
8. Quarantine is required for 14 days in a government-designated facility.9. For quarantine classification protocols and regulations, visit the Philippine Department of Health’s website. 10. Vaccination is not required.

Poland Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. Poland has restricted entry via all borders to foreign nationals. Only those who qualify for exceptions are allowed to enter or transit.
2. A negative Covid19 negative test report is not required to enter.
3. All travelers entering via any border are subject to a 10-day mandatory quarantine. Certain exceptions negate the quarantine if you qualify.
4. Vaccination is not required.

Romania Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. U.S. citizens will only be allowed to enter if they meet the exceptions for entry listed in Government Decision no. 580 of May 27.
2. A Covid19 negative test report is required from passengers traveling from a high epidemiological risk country.
3. Quarantine depends on the travel’s point of departure as per the National Institute of Public Health norms.

Spain Partially Open.
Quarantine not Required.
1. Effective 22nd December 2020, the entry of travelers from the U.K. has been suspended.

2. Effective 24th June 2021, U.S. citizens can travel to Spain if they present a QR code generated through the Spain Travel Health portal,
3. U.S. citizens who are traveling to Spain from other countries should make sure they follow the guidance published by Spanish authorities on their local Spain Embassy website.
4. All passengers arriving from third countries must fill out the Health Control Form (FCS) and show the Q.R. code at the Border Health Control. Your form needs to be finalized 48 hours before your entry.
5. A covid19 negative test report is required 72 hours before your departure.
6. Quarantine is not required unless specified by the authorities.

10. Vaccination or a negative COVID test is not required if you are traveling from the US

South Korea Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. U.S. citizens are allowed to enter.
2. All international passengers must produce a covid19 negative test report 72 hours before departure.
3. Specific data is required on the test report, failing to provide which will deny entry into the country.
4. All passengers are subjected to a mandatory 14-day quarantine.
5. Pre-departure tests are mandatory.

Thailand Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. Travel has been opened to individuals falling under The Royal Thai Government Guidelines, including anyone traveling for medical treatment.
2. Certificate of Entry is issued to all travelers by the Thailand Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
3. U.S. citizens are allowed to enter.
4. Effective 1st May 2021, quarantine regulations have been updated to 14 days regardless of nationality or vaccination status.
5. Quarantine is indicated at own expense.
6. A hotel booking confirmation of the government-designated Alternative State Quarantine for 14 days.
7. For Non-Thai Nationals, a medical certificate and Covid19 negative medical test report 72 hours before the time of departure are required. Method for testing: RT-PCR.
8. Public Transportation: operational.
9. Commercial flights: operational.

Turkey Partially Open.
Quarantine Not Required.
1. The Covid19 restrictions imposed in the country are for the residents and nationals. Tourists are exempt.
2. Foreign arrivals for short trips or tourism are exempted from the curfews in place.
3. With effect from March 15, all passengers arriving in Turkey (except those in transit) are required to fill “Form for Entry to Turkey” within 72 hours before their flights.
4. A negative Covid19 PCR test report is required from passengers who are 6 years or older 72 hours before the flight.
5. As of 22nd April 2021, all passengers who visited India in the past 10 days of travel will be quarantined for 14 days at places selected by Turkish official authorities.
6. Passengers traveling from another country, transiting in Brazil and South America, are subjected to quarantine at places selected by Turkish official authorities.
7. From May 15, 2021, a PCR test will not be requested by arrivals from Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, Israel, Japan, United Kingdom, Latvia, Luxembourg, Ukraine, and Estonia.
8. Quarantine is not required, if you submit
*A negative PCR test result within 72-hours of boarding the flight, or*A document issued by the relevant country’s official authorities stating that they have been vaccinated at least 14 days before entering to Turkey and/or have had the disease and were cured within the last 6 months.9. Medical tourism travelers will need a medical visa and specific health documentation to enter Turkey.

UAE Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. Citizens of all countries can visit the UAE for tourism if they are fully vaccinated. They must undergo a rapid PCR test at the airport on arrival.
2. Unvaccinated passengers are required to produce a covid19 negative test report 72 hours before departure.
3. Medical travel insurance should cover covid19 treatments.
4. Quarantine depends on the Emirate, COVID-19 testing results, and additional government guidance.
5. Download the ALHOSN UAE app before you travel to Abu Dhabi.

USA Partially Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. From 26th January 2021, all air passengers arriving in the U.S. from a foreign country are to get tested three days before their flight departs.
2. They are to present the negative test result or document of recovery from covid19 before the flight departs.
3. Antibody tests are not compliant with the requirement.
4. If you are traveling via one or more connecting flights, the test must be done 3 days before the first flight if the layover is not over 24 hours.
If the flights were booked separately, or the layover is longer than 24 hours, you need to get tested 3 days before your arrival in the U.S.
5. CDC requires that the passengers have a paper or electronic copy for review by the airline before they board the flight.
6. The document may also be reviewed by the Public Health Officials upon arrival.
7. Written documentation of the result is to be provided to the airline before boarding.
8. With exceptions, the Presidential proclamations suspend the entry of individuals who were present within the following countries during the 14 day period preceding their entry to the U.S.:
China, Iran, European Schengen area, United Kingdom, Republic of Ireland, Brazil, South Africa, and India.
9. Each state in the U.S. has varied quarantine requirements. Please verify the requirements to enter each state.
10. CDC recommends all travelers (including those fully vaccinated) to get tested 3-5 days after travel and quarantine for 7 days post-arrival.

Vietnam Not Open.
Quarantine Required.
1. Vietnam has suspended entry for foreign individuals apart from individuals in exempted categories.
2. Incoming individuals are subjected to a mandatory quarantine.
3. Covid19 Negative test result is required.
4. The quarantine and testing costs are at the traveler’s own expense.
6. Quarantine: 7 days for fully vaccinated entrants and 14 days for those who have not received full vaccinations.
7. Vaccination is not required.

Outbound Travel Guidelines

Outbound Destination Status Guidelines
USA Partially Open 1. CDC recommends delaying international travel till complete vaccination is done
2. CDC recommends getting tested 3-5 days after travel and self-quarantine for a full 7 days.
3. Unless your destination requires it, you do not need to get a covid19 negative test prior to departure.

Canada Partially Open 1. The Public Health Agency of Canada advises avoiding all non-essential travel.
2. All travelers are required to have a covid19 negative test report 72 hours prior to entering Canada.
3. Before you depart, you are required to plan your travel priorly as suggested by the Canadian government.

Australia Not Open 1. Overseas travel has been suspended.
2. Travel to high-risk covid19 countries will only be allowed for urgent cases.
3. With effect from 18th April 2021, quarantine-free travel to New Zealand has been allowed if you meet the travel requirements.
4. International travelers are encouraged to return home whenever possible.
5. Temporary visa holders are allowed to depart depending on the restrictions of their home country. They will only be allowed to enter back in cases of an exception.
6. Australian citizens and Permanent residents are only allowed to leave if they get an exemption.

New Zealand Not Open 1. Citizens are advised not to travel.
2. Quarantine free travel permitted only to Australia, with “exercised cautions”.
3. Pre-departure covid test depending on the requirements of the arrival country.
