Dr. Balli graduated from the Universidad de Monterrey. He specialized in general surgery at the Hospital San José in Monterrey. His main area of expertise is laparoscopic surgery.

Dr. Balli is board-certified in gastro-intestinal digestive laparoscopic surgery from Louis Pasteur University in Strasburg, France. He completed a fellowship in advanced and basic laparoscopic techniques at the Texas Endosurgery Institute in San Antonio.

He has authored and co-authored over 20 surgical articles published in renowned journals in Europe, the USA and Mexico. He is also active in organized medicine, participating in the Mexican Association of Endoscopic Surgery and the American Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons.
