Dr. Matar graduated from the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey. He is a respected gynecologist in Monterrey, Mexico.
He has a sub-specialty in reproductive medicine and surgery from the University of Texas in San Antonio, and has taken several continuing medical education courses at the European Society of Human Reproduction in Prague, Czech Republic and Lyon, France.
Dr. Matar is an active member of several organizations such as: the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopy, the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology, the American Association of Fertility and Sterility, and the Mexican Reproductive Medicine Society.
