Surrogate Frozen Breast Milk – FAQ

Question – Is it possible to have the surrogate pump herself and obtain frozen breast milk for my child for the first few weeks (assuming that the health of the surrogate permits and that lactation starts)? What would be the cost?

Answer – No, this is not possible in India. The surrogate is not allowed to breastfeed the baby in any way – frozen milk or otherwise.
