|4,000+ Treated | 15+ Yrs Experience|
Welcome to our comprehensive program on stem cell therapy in Mexico. We have partnered with GIOSTAR, a known leader in stem cell technology, to treat a number of diseases.
Stem cells have established a new and promising chapter in human health – right from undoing damage caused by a heart attack to helping one bounce back after serious injuries, such as those to the spinal cord.
✔ Global leaders in stem cell research and technology
✔ Headquartered in San Diego, California
✔ Founded by a top name in stem cell technology, Dr. Anand Srivastava
✔ Supported by the governments of India, Mexico, China, Colombia, and Thailand for furthering the elite science of stem cells
✔ Licensed clinicians for using both adult autologous (own body) and allogeneic (from healthy donors) stem cells
✔ More than 4,000 treated

We study each case individually and formulate a stem cell protocol made of up of 3-4 multiple applications. Other stem cell clinics in Mexico, on the other hand, do a single application first and then wait for the results before following it up with another application.
What really sets us apart from other stem cell centers in Mexico is the work done in our labs. We extract stem cells from adipose tissue and then multiply them into millions. We revert their aging process, and render them blank. After this these are “differentiated” into specialized cells such as nerve cells, bone cells, or pancreatic cells that could help improve the patient’s condition. Most of the stem cell hospitals in Mexico do not follow the process of differentiation.
Our stem cell therapy costs are quite competitive and help you save thousands over US prices. GIOSTAR is working towards increasing the accessibility of this technology to the masses by making it more pocket-friendly.
Our packages include complete trip assistance in the form of hotel bookings and ground transfers to ensure you have a hassle-free stay.
GIOSTAR has been involved in stem cell research since 2000. In fact the founder of the company played a pivotal role in setting up research projects at renowned institutions, such as the University of California – Irvine, UCSD School of Medicine – University of California San Diego, Salk Institute for Biological Studies, School of Medicine at University of California – UCLA.
We do not rely on outside research ad have an expert team in both Mexico and India to do the investigative work. Since stem cell technology is an ever-evolving science, research work forms the core of our ideology.
We currently offer stem cell therapy in Tijuana, Guadalajara, and Los Algodones. In Mexico stem cells can only be administered in duly licensed and certified hospitals and surgery centers. We have all the necessary permits to carry on this procedure.
We provide stem cell treatment at Del Prado Hospital in Tijuana. It is the only hospital to carry a certification in excellence issued by the Health Secretary in Mexico. The hospital is just about 15 minutes from the San Ysidro Port of Entry.
Guadalajara is served by an international airport, making it a suitable destination for medical tourists. We provide stem cell transplantation at San Javier in Guadalajara which has been deemed as a Specialty Hospital by the Mexican General Health Council.
Our state-of-the-art stem cell spa in Los Algodones offers a comfortable ambience. It has well-trained staff and is just a few blocks from the Andrade border crossing.
GIOSTAR is a pioneer in stem cell technology which has been using adult stem cells for treating various degenerative and autoimmune diseases since 2000. The company has been involved in stem cell research for over 16 years, and is associated with the most brilliant minds in the field. The founder of the organization, Dr. Anand Srivastava, is a luminary in the field with numerous fellowships and awards bestowed on him. He has also been given the US Congressional Award in appreciation of his contributions to the science of stem cells.
The company has received patronage from the government of India in establishing the largest stem cell hospital in the world. After treating thousands with this elite science in India, it now brings stem cell therapy to the benefit of North America. As part of its expansion plans, GIOSTAR is in the process of setting up state-of-the-art stem cell hospitals in Rio De Janeiro – Brazil, Bangkok – Thailand, Dubai – UAE, and Medellin – Colombia.
Stem cells are body’s basic building material or mother cells from which other cells with specific functions get generated. In a conducive environment either inside the body or created in a laboratory, these mother cells divide themselves into daughter cells which may become new stem cells or convert into cell types with more specific functions (differentiation). These could be nerve cells, bone cells, or pancreatic cells, among others.
We at GIOSTAR have the technology to harness this latent potential of stem cells to generate further new cells as well as to transform into more specialized cell types.
✔ Also known as regenerative medicine, stem cell transplantation is an elite technology making use of stem cells for repairing damaged, diseased or non-functioning tissue of the body.
✔ Stem cell therapy allows for growing stem cells in the lab and coaxing them to differentiate into functional cells, such as bone cells, nerve cells, and heart muscle cells.
✔ After getting transplanted into the patient, these cells populate the affected site, and can help bring about improvements.
✔ In case of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s, stem cells may differentiate into neural cells for replacing the lost and damages ones (MH Han et al – 2016)
✔ In case of diabetes, stem cells have the potential to turn into insulin-generating cells.
✔ Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSC) have the potential to differentiate into neurons and other types of cells and help in recovery after spinal cord injury (Khazaei M et al – 2017)
Some of the degenerative diseases and autoimmune disorders for which we are offering stem cell transplantation in Mexico for:
Note: This is just a representative list of some of the diseases. For more information on stem cell injections for procedures not mentioned above, please fill in the contact form.
For stem cell transplantation purposes our centers in Mexico use Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs). These are adult stem cells that have been induced or genetically reprogrammed to behave just like embryonic stem cells without having any moral or ethical issues associated with the latter. iPSCs are safe to use as these do not carry the risk of getting rejected by the immune system.
We have the technology to derive adult stem cells from adipose tissue. Adipose tissue are known to be an “abundant source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC)” (S Schreml et al.). Stem cells can be harvested from them through liposuction.
We have treated nearly 4,000 people with this technology and not even a single case has shown any negative outcomes related with the therapy itself. However, there may be a likelihood of occurrence of side-effects related with the extraction of adipose tissue through liposuction, such as infections, swelling, and reaction to anesthesia.
