We study each case individually and formulate a stem cell protocol made of up of 3-4 multiple applications. Other stem cell clinics in Mexico, on the other hand, do a single application first and then wait for the results before following it up with another application.

We currently offer stem cell therapy in Tijuana, Guadalajara, and Los Algodones. In Mexico stem cells can only be administered in duly licensed and certified hospitals and surgery centers. We have all the necessary permits to carry on this procedure.
We provide stem cell treatment at Del Prado Hospital in Tijuana. It is the only hospital to carry a certification in excellence issued by the Health Secretary in Mexico. The hospital is just about 15 minutes from the San Ysidro Port of Entry.

Stem cells are body’s basic building material or mother cells from which other cells with specific functions get generated. In a conducive environment either inside the body or created in a laboratory, these mother cells divide themselves into daughter cells which may become new stem cells or convert into cell types with more specific functions (differentiation). These could be nerve cells, bone cells, or pancreatic cells, among others.

For stem cell transplantation purposes our centers in Mexico use Induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs). These are adult stem cells that have been induced or genetically reprogrammed to behave just like embryonic stem cells without having any moral or ethical issues associated with the latter. iPSCs are safe to use as these do not carry the risk of getting rejected by the immune system.
We have the technology to derive adult stem cells from adipose tissue. Adipose tissue are known to be an “abundant source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC)” (S Schreml et al.). Stem cells can be harvested from them through liposuction.
We have treated nearly 4,000 people with this technology and not even a single case has shown any negative outcomes related with the therapy itself. However, there may be a likelihood of occurrence of side-effects related with the extraction of adipose tissue through liposuction, such as infections, swelling, and reaction to anesthesia.
