In this video Dr. Mora explains in detail the meaning and significance of PRP which stands for Platelet Rich Plasma. Blood is primarily a liquid called plasma; this plasma contains very minute components such as red blood cells, white blood cells and platelets. Platelets are granular components that are known to facilitate blood clotting or coagulation and contain hundreds of proteins that are called growth factors.
