Dr. Bess Oberto graduated from the Universidad
Autónoma de Nuevo León. He has taken several continuing
medical education courses in lap-band surgery, and has special training
in advanced laparoscopy surgery. Throughout his career, he has
performed more than 1,500 lap-band surgeries working with the
nationally renowned Dr. Sanchez’s weight loss surgical team; most
of the patients were US Citizens. He also has experience in the
“Nissen Plasty Surgery” for Acid Reflux; also known
